Files are encrypted with AES-256-GCM in your browser before upload. The encryption key can be shared only in the URL fragment (#key=) and never passes through our servers.

Yes. Anonymous uploads work from this page. Sign in is optional when you want transfers tied to your account.

Transfers can scale to very large files (on the order of 100 GB), limited primarily by your browser and uplink speed.

Retention follows the expiry you choose at upload. When a transfer expires, it is removed according to our retention policy.

Shotdrive is part of the Shotcloud suite and can be used alongside Shotnode workflows where configured.

Download links stop working. Depending on your plan, recovery options may be available for Pro users.
